Foundation Conditions Activity

Every lesson will suggest a short activity such as the one below. This will provide practice, consolidate and extend your understanding, and expose you to some of the ideas about which Amateurs are passionate. Enjoy getting involved.

Instructions:

Download a copy of the Amateur Class License document by clicking on the link in the Foundation References page. Open the document and find information, within it, that relates to each of the following:

• The Foundation Amateur Bands and their Frequency Ranges
• The maximum transmit power for each type of qualification (Foundation, Standard and Advanced)
• Regulations regarding when to use your callsign for station identification
• The year in which the Amateur Class License was published
