Foundation Theory Activity

Every lesson will suggest a short activity such as the one below. This will provide practice, consolidate and extend your understanding, and expose you to some of the ideas about which Amateurs are passionate. Enjoy getting involved.

Instructions:

The best way to ensure that you understand all of the theory and other specialised information in the Foundation Syllabus, is to download and print a copy of that syllabus. As you go through this course material, take a highlighter and mark each clause and sub-clause in the syllabus that you feel that you know thoroughly. When you have finished the course, get a different coloured highlighter and go through the whole syllabus again. Anything that you cannot highlight, should be investigated, studied and ultimately, marked off! Below are some strategies you can try, to fill the gaps.

• Read through Jeff's Foundation Cheat Sheets by following the link in the References page
• Do lots of WIA and HamExam Practice Exams
